This combination contains the chemotherapy drugs cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride (hydroxydaunomycin), and vincristine sulfate (Oncovin), the targeted therapy drug rituximab, and the steroid hormone prednisone. Combinations usually work better than single drugs because different drugs kill cancer cells in different ways.

Use in Cancer
R-CHOP is used to treat:
- B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, including the following types:
- Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
- Follicular lymphoma that is advanced. It is used as the first treatment.
- Waldenström macroglobulinemia.
This combination may also be used with other drugs or treatments or to treat other types of cancer.
